Heatmap View Teaser
Heatmap View Teaser – Coming Soon to TimeTrack Pro
A local-only heatmap would visually show your most-visited areas over time — perfect for discovering patterns, optimizing routines, or reliving life hotspots — without ever uploading data or using cloud services.
1. What a Heatmap Would Look Like
A color-coded overlay on a simple map (offline tiles or blank grid):
- Red/hot: Places you spend the most time (home, office)
- Yellow/warm: Frequent stops (gym, supermarket, cafe)
- Green/cool: Occasional visits (parks, friends' houses)
- Blue/cold: Rare or one-time locations
Zoom/pan to explore — tap hotspots for time stats and copy times.
2. How It Will Work (100% Offline)
- Import your timeline files (JSON preferred for density)
- Go to Heatmap view (new tab in future update)
- Select time period (week, month, year)
- App processes points locally → generates color density map
- View results — zoom, tap clusters for details
- Export screenshot or stats (CSV of top areas)
3. Privacy & Security Guarantees
- No map tiles loaded from internet (use offline vector or blank grid)
- All calculation on-device — no location data sent anywhere
- Optional encryption — protect heatmap data if saved
- Instant delete — wipe view anytime
4. Real-World Use Cases
- Daily life audit: See how much time you really spend at home vs out
- Habit discovery: Uncover favorite lunch spots or evening hangouts
- Commute optimization: Spot traffic bottlenecks visually
- Travel reflection: Relive vacation hotspots with color intensity
- Work-from-home proof: Show concentrated home activity
5. While Waiting – Manual Alternatives
- Use calendar view → manually note frequent places
- Copy times from repeated locations → build your own list
- Screenshot timeline clusters → create visual summary
- Export to spreadsheet → sort by place name for frequency
6. Roadmap & Feedback
Planned after search, stats, and large-file handling (2026–2027). Completely offline, no Google Maps API, no tracking. Email [email protected] with ideas or vote priority.
Coming soon: See your life in color — privately, locally, and beautifully.
