Backup & Restore Guide for TimeTrack Pro

Your imported timeline files are stored locally. Here's how to back them up and restore them safely.

1. Manual Backup

  • Settings → Export all data → choose folder (e.g. Google Drive, USB)
  • Or: Use file manager → copy app data folder (Android/data/com.yourpackage/files)

2. Restore Process

  • Reinstall app if needed
  • Import → select backed-up JSON/KML files
  • App re-processes them automatically

3. Best Practices

  • Backup after every major import
  • Use encrypted storage (e.g. encrypted ZIP or cloud folder)
  • Keep original exports — app doesn't modify them

4. Upcoming Auto-Backup

  • Option to auto-save to chosen folder on import
  • Scheduled backups (monthly)

Because everything is local, backup/restore is simple and secure — your data never leaves your control.
